Shamrock Prosthetics, Inc. has announced the untimely passing of their founder, mentor, and dear friend, Steve Ehretsman. The company expressed its deep sorrow over the loss and appreciates patience, understanding, and support as they grieve this immeasurable loss.
As the strategic leader of Shamrock Prosthetics, Ehretsman was deeply committed to his patients, spending much of his time on the road to personally support and mentor new patients through mental coaching. His dedication to improving lives made a lasting impact on the prosthetics community.
Before founding Shamrock Prosthetics in May 2015, Ehretsman had a successful career in marketing and sales, working with prestigious consumer brands such as Coca-Cola, Budweiser, and Gatorade.

Ehretsman was a former Division 1 student-athlete and served as the Captain of Boston University’s Men’s Basketball Team. His experience as an athlete fueled his passion for coaching, mentoring, and inspiring others—values that carried into his work at Shamrock Prosthetics.
In honor of Steve Ehretsman’s memory, Shamrock Prosthetics will reopen on Monday, March 31st, and remain committed to providing the highest quality care to their patients.
His legacy of leadership, compassion, and innovation will continue to inspire those he touched, and his impact on the prosthetics community will not be forgotten.
